"Here I've taken a classic American staple — a donut — and married it to traditional Indian flavors that I grew up enjoying."

Priyanka Poddar founded Knead Some Love NY in September 2020 with $175 in change and a home oven in her New York apartment. By day, she's a trained architect; by every other waking hour, she runs the bakery she built reinterpreting the Indian desserts she grew up with in Mumbai — gulab jamun, mango lassi, rose and pistachio — as the donuts and bundts of her American adopted home.
Today, Knead Some Love ships to more than 25 states, sells out weekly at Smorgasburg in New York, and has been featured on Fox 5 New York and in profiles from Spoon University to NJ Digest. Every box is still baked the same week it ships. Every donut is hand-glazed and finished one at a time.
Build your own box from any flavor on the menu. Mix donuts, bundts, vegan and gluten-free swaps in the same order. Shipped overnight in insulated boxes so they arrive the way they leave the kitchen.
Lighter, less greasy, engineered to hold up between the kitchen and your kitchen table.
No freezing. Baked, glazed, and packed the same week your order ships from New York.
From a Brooklyn kitchen to more than 25 states. Order during the week, delivered by the weekend.
New flavor drops, market dates, the occasional recipe.
